The Cairo First United Methodist Church Preschool is committed to providing a safe, happy and developmentally appropriate place for children to grow and learn about God’s world. Our program is designed to help children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually to their fullest potential. We help children prepare for kindergarten while encouraging an appreciation and awareness of God’s love.

Curriculum: We teach using the “WEE Learn” curriculum, which stimulates physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual development. This curriculum is activity based, provides choices, encourages creative expression, is biblically based and makes learning fun. Creative movement classes are also available to be incorporated into the curriculum.

Enrollment: Pre-K children must be 4 years old by Sept. 1st. Two and Three year olds must have birthdays on or before September 1st. Three year olds must be potty trained.
